Granny's Little Genius Preparatoryuses individualized learning plans that are grounded on a solid curriculum and utilizes a research-based assessment program that integrates Arizona Standards for Early Learning. Our Director has a Masters of Education in Early Childhood Education and is an AZ ECE Workforce Instructor for Early Childhood Education teachers and uses her 27 years of teaching experience and knowledge to mentor our teachers. Our teachers are all enrolled in ECE degree programs and have experience in the field. We develop our lesson plans to be creative, developmentally appropriate, while enhancing our themes to be fun, interesting to children, and enriching. Our developmentally appropriate practices prepares children for Kindergarten with advanced higher-order thinking, problem-solving, and critical thinking activities that stimulate intellectual development. Our geniuses that begin with us at 3 years old are reading the first level readers by completion of the PreK program. All of our children that begin at 3 years or at 3.7 are able to pass the Kindergarten entry test and score at 9-12 months advanced the Kindergarten entry level. Our academic program covers all of the learning domains and integrate technology to create exploration, visual, and hands on differentiation so that every genius is able to advance at their pace, while experiencing an accelerated fun and loving learning environment enriched with learning centers for: Language Arts, Math, Science, Art, Social Studies, Dramatic Play with threading of social-emotional across domains. What makes us different is we teach and employ creative exploration of student curiosity with intention to develop within our geniuses a love for learning, exploration, and higher-order thinking for life-long learning. Our environment is clean, friendly, and continues to evolve with our children. We not only develop school readiness in children, but recreates our environment and learning centers based on the needs of our students and their growth patterns.
